You've heard of Tea & Talk now here's Tea & a Film ! The film is 'Some Like it Hot' featuring Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe; it was made in 1959 in black and white and directed by Billy Wilder. After witnessing the Valentine's Day Massacre in Chicago, two musicians (Curtis and Lemmon) escape the heat by joining an all girl band dressed as women with uproarious results. Howsham Mill, our local Restoration Project, is now generating electricity using the restored water wheel and a new archemedian screw turbine.
Visitors and volunteers are welcome anytime. Volunteers are on site on Sundays.
The Mill is not signposted yet, but go through Crambe towards Howsham. Park at the river bridge and follow the signs.
